Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 10th Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (AOCPRM 2027), taking place at the Taipei International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
AOCPRM, organized biennially by the Asia-Oceanian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (AOSPRM), represents the most important academic gathering for our specialty in the Asia-Oceania region. Over the years, this conference has served not only as a forum for scientific exchange, but also as a platform for building collaboration, strengthening professional networks, and shaping the collective future of rehabilitation medicine.
As our field continues to evolve in response to demographic change, technological innovation, and increasing societal needs, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine plays a critical role in promoting function, participation, and quality of life. AOCPRM 2027 reflects our shared commitment to advancing evidence-based practice, embracing innovation, and fostering interdisciplinary and international collaboration across the region and beyond.
In particular, I would like to extend a warm welcome and encouragement to our early career physicians and young professionals across the Asia-Pacific region. You are the future leaders of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and it is our shared responsibility to support your growth through mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities for meaningful engagement on the international stage.
Taipei is an ideal host city for this congress. Taiwan is widely recognized for its high-quality healthcare system, strong clinical training, and growing contributions to rehabilitation research and education. I sincerely thank the local organizing committee and the Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for their dedication and outstanding efforts in bringing AOCPRM 2027 to life.
Beyond the scientific program, this congress provides an invaluable opportunity to renew friendships, establish new partnerships, and inspire the next generation of rehabilitation professionals. I encourage all participants to actively engage in discussions, share experiences, and explore collaborative opportunities that will continue well beyond this meeting.
On behalf of AOSPRM, I extend my deepest appreciation to all speakers, organizers, sponsors, and participants for your continued support of AOCPRM. I am confident that AOCPRM 2027 will be a stimulating, meaningful, and memorable congress for all.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to Taipei in March 2027 and wish you a successful and enjoyable meeting.
